Went to check out the warming stations at the beach again. (A day early, so they weren’t all ready yet.) This year my niece, Franka, and sister-in-law, Jodie, were in town to join us. The landscape down at the beach looked a lot different from this time last year.
This past weekend was a long weekend for Cameron so we decided to rent a car and do a little exploring nearby. Friday we spent the day in Hamilton. We saw a waterfall, drank coffee, ate some food, wandered around and saw some art at the AGH. Not a bad day.
Went for an afternoon stroll down by the beach on Sunday. There’s a ton of ice build up along the water, that in some places look a bit like sand dunes. Besides a lot of snow and ice there was also a public art installation. Five teams built up around the lifeguard chairs that sit unused. They’re calling them warming stations.
