Our last day in San Francisco our gracious hosts, Vanessa and Paul, drove us south of the city. First, to a haunting cypress forest near Moss Beach. Being near the ocean after having been away for a while is a bit of an emotional experience for me. Something about the smell of salt in the air, I don’t know.
Next, we grabbed some roadside tacos and wen for a short walk in Butano State park. It was beautiful and made me a little homesick for the west coast.
And there you have it. The chronicle of our trip to San Francisco comes to an end.
We decided to try out San Francisco’s new bike share program and rode some bikes along the Embarcadero. Afterwards we indulged in an In-N-Out burger and a little fun at the Musée Méchanique. Both Cameron and I tested as being ‘cold’ and, even worse, a ‘dead fish’ in our respective attraction tests. At least we have each other…
